About Me

I was born and raised on the island of Barbados. Growing up, my childhood was carefree – I never always got what I wanted, but I always had what I needed. Forever outside, barefoot and free usually skateboarding or rollerblading around the neighbourhood, running on reefs and swimming in rock pools. I like to think this free and adventurous childhood lends to my love of capturing families, especially with young children. I jumped into the photography world 10+ years ago and haven’t looked back since. It all happened quite unexpectedly. After having my first born, my 3-month-maternity-leave was quickly coming to an end and the mere thought of leaving him to go back to work was heart-breaking. And so I didn’t. After being a stay at home momma for the first year of his life, I started exploring ways of making an income and what started as a small leap of faith has turned into an incredible career that I am forever grateful for.

A few years and many children later, I am still loving what I do. My four children are my absolute reason. Through my love of motherhood I intentionally seek + capture authentic moments for the people I photograph. Moments that I know will bring back memories and evoke feelings even years down the road. Being a self-taught photographer, I am a forever learner. I enjoy continuously honing in on my craft and falling in love with photography time and time again. Thanks for clicking through my website.
