Their wedding was small and intimate; just their immediate family. And oh man what a beautifully close family they are. Siun’s father delivered his speech in French (he’s 100% British) but he did this so Florent’s family could understand.
After years of hearing thousands of speeches, it takes a really solid and genuine one to make me cry.
I don’t speak one word of French. But the gesture alone made me shed a tear.
A classic ‘the small things really are the big things’ moment I will never forget.
